American Furniture Classics Model 600, 8 Gun Cabinet

This item is exactly as described and was fairly easy to put together. My husband loves it. Would highly recommend

I ordered the cabinet on a Sunday & it arrived on a Thursday….sooner than predicted. The shipping package was over 5 feet tall, not very thick and about 70 pounds. There was no damage to the shipping carton. As I opened the carton I found the contents very well packed & no damage was evident. The assembly directions were straight forward & assembly was easy, there were no missing parts. There were 22 wood dowels that needed to be inserted between all sections of the cabinet. They all fit loosely so I glued them in with wood glue. All the screw holes were present except on the glass door. The assembly instructions show the door hinges to be mounted on the door first, then on the cabinet. I did it the opposite way… mounting the door hinges on the cabinet first so as to be able to mark & drill the screws holes on the door in the right spot. The cabinet looks fine. It seems to be solidly built. I found only one small ding in the front trim, but it’s not much of an issue with me.
